Sue Ryder’s Online Shop is leading the way in market value furniture, offering a solution to cash-strapped UK Millennials furnishing their homes.
New research published by the Resolution Foundation* has revealed that UK Millennials are facing a bigger reversal in financial fortunes than their counterparts in every other developed company.**
The research shows that collective spending power shrank by 7% between 2012 and 2017, meaning they inevitably need to be more selective, favouring retailers that allow them to save money.
The Sue Ryder Online Shop offers brand new, on-trend and exclusive products including storage units and decorative furnishings such as chairs and lighting. Launched in Oct 2013, it offers a range of great value items for both interior and garden design, with products stored and dispatched from its Northampton warehouse.
Clare Farthing, Ecommerce Marketing Executive for Sue Ryder Online Shop commented: “For the younger segment of the Millennial cohort it is important for brands and retailers like us to ensure our goods align with this limited spending capacity: good product at good prices whilst still being the kind of furniture young people want and need. Our range ticks all the boxes in terms of style but also with a focus on value.”
Sue Ryder, currently provide over 2.7 million hours of expert medical, practical and emotional support each and every year. Sue Ryder Online Shop aims to support the core of Sue Ryder’s work, selling high-quality items and donating 100% of the profits to helping provide person-centred hospice and neurological care.
Clare continues: “With many family incomes under pressure, our furniture is a great way to furnish a home for less while helping millennials with their limited spending power.
Although many people may know about the fantastic work that Sue Ryder does, and their high street stores, the Sue Ryder Online Shop continues to be an undiscovered resource for brand new, affordable homewares. Not only do we stock brand new and on-trend items, but we also give shoppers a way to help give back and shop with a conscience. The funds raised on this website as well as through our high street shops, go towards helping people and their families directly, with thousands more able to access advice on our Sue Ryder website.”
As well as offering express delivery and safe and secure payments, Sue Ryder’s dedicated online shop offers free delivery over £50, a 30-day money back guarantee and a dedicated Customer Services Team. The full collection of chairs and other products can be found at www.sueryder.org/shop
